A friend posted a photo online for help with ID. It was a bird I hadn’t seen before, so I went to where she saw it, and now I have!

This is a really awful photo, taken zoomed in using my iphone. But it’s a new bird 🙂
These birds are quite similar, but the Great Knot is a little bigger than the Red Knot, and the red has chevron shaped marks on the chest, while the great has more dash-like marks....
Another new bird from this little bit of wetlands. It was an exciting trip! Three new birds.
