These photos are absolutely atrocious, and I’m not even going to tell you where to find the bird in them. It was such a gorgeous little bird, brown on the back, and yellowish on the front, and there was a nest in the reeds too – a very fluffy looking nest, which was so well hidden that I didn’t even get a decent photo of that. The wonderful people on the Australian Bird Identification group on facebook still managed to identify it for me though.
